2013 Women's Summer Schools
Northeast Regional Summer School for Union Women
“Raising our voices: Women's Leadership for Democracy in our work, our country, and our world!”
The 38th UALE Northeast Regional Summer School for Union Women, will take place July 20-25, at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
Western Regional Summer Institute for Union Women
“Women Emerging as Leaders”
The Western Regional Summer Institute will take place at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, from June 25 – 30.
Midwest/Southern Women's School for Union Women
The Midwest and Southern schools have merged this year, and will host their combined school August 15-18, in Little Rock, AR at the Wyndham Riverfront Little Rock.

The UCLA Labor Center Annual Banquet will take place on May 23 at The Center at Cathedral Plaza, 555 West Temple Street, Los Angeles. Reception 6:00 pm; dinner 7:00 pm. Honorees will be Joseph Hansen, International President, UFCW; California State Senator Kevin de León; CA State Assembly member Holly Mitchell, and Josh Pechthalt, President, CA Federation of Teachers.
